LCHP0002 Product Recall

The Office of Cannabis Management (“OCM”) is issuing a recall regarding the following products produced by Rec Roots, LLC; OCM-PROC-25-000243:

• Lemon Cherry Pelli,  Lot # LCHP0002

These products were tested by Keystone State Testing of New York (“Keystone”). OCM determined that Keystone issued inaccurate results on Certificates of Analysis, including results not supported by analytic data due to quality assurance issues. OCM has issued a Statement of Findings to Keystone, dated February 26, 2026, based on these findings. Accordingly, the reported results are invalid, and the products cannot be considered to have met minimum testing standards under 9 NYCRR §123.6(h), §123.6(i), and Part 130.

 Therefore, OCM is directing Rec Roots, LLC to initiate a recall of all units from the identified lots.

– IMPORTANT RECALL NOTICE – 

If you purchased Lemon Cherry Pelli, Lot # LCHP0002 by Rec Roots, OCM-PROC-25-000243, from any licensed New York State adult-use cannabis dispensary:

Do not consume the product, as the Certificate of Analysis has been determined invalid by the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM), meaning it may not meet required safety standards. These products were tested by Keystone State Testing of New York (“Keystone”). OCM determined that Keystone issued inaccurate results on Certificates of Analysis, including results not supported by analytic data due to quality assurance issues. OCM has issued a Statement of Findings to Keystone, dated February 26, 2026, based on these findings. Accordingly, the reported results are invalid, and the products cannot be considered to have met minimum testing standards under 9 NYCRR §123.6(h), §123.6(i), and Part 130.  

Therefore, OCM is directing Rec Roots, LLC to initiate a recall of all units from the identified lot.  

If you have any of this product remaining, return the product to the licensed retail dispensary where you originally purchased it for a refund. If returning to the dispensary is not possible (e.g., due to travel, disposal needs, or other reasons), securely dispose of the product in a manner that prevents access by others (e.g., mix with an undesirable substance like used coffee grounds or cat litter, seal in a container, and place in household trash). Do not flush or pour down drains. Do not sell, transfer, gift, or donate the recalled product.

This recall is precautionary and issued at the direction of the OCM to protect consumer safety. No adverse health effects have been reported to date related to this lot, but compliance ensures public health and safety.
